I like this North Dakota State team. They would have been a good choice to play the Washington Generals role up against Hickory High and Jimmy Chitwood (Milan, IN and Bobby Plump) in the movie Hoosiers. Colorado St avoids my peeve of relying on the dribble for its entire one-on-one offense, they pass, but all of their passes are at least 20 feet from the hoop. No interior passes, no entry passes, no chance to get a good high percentage shot. The announcers keep saying that CSU is running a motion offense, but it shure looks static on the tv box. 5,000 fans showed up wherever NDSU is located to see the return of former coach Tim Miles now at CSU. North Dakota State is keeping this lead around 10 most of the second half. Odd thing about this lower level games, the announcers are either really bad or rally good. These guys are surprisingly good - nice rhythm, honest play by play, commentary only when needed. This has been a really good, fun game to watch. I am officially adopting the Bison of North Dakota State as my team in the Summit League. Hey they win the 15th in a row at home. NDSU wins going away 83-69.
